The Anthony Pharmacy building was constructed c. 1910 as a two-story brick masonry commercial drug store. An interior photograph of the drug store bar can be found in Hico, A Heritage—Siloam Springs History, Volume One (Smith, 1976). The exterior hexagonal penny tiling in front of the entrance still reads “Dr. Anthony”. In 1975, it was a Sisco drug store. Today it is occupied by Heart of the Home: Decor & Gifts.

The building sits on a cast concrete foundation and displays decorative corbelling on the upper story parapet and one-over-one double-hung windows on the second story supported by cast concrete sills and lintels. The structure possesses three interior brick chimneys. The storefront exhibits a corner entrance and features original display windows and simply decorated brick piers.

The original transom windows have been altered, though the solid-to-void ratio has been preserved, removing dividing frames and creating larger individual transoms. The woodwork on the original bulkheads has been removed and the brick beneath is exposed, and fabric awnings have been replaced with a decorative aluminum awning over the entrance. The brick masonry and decorative brickwork, facing Broadway, has been painted a sympathetic color. The original brick can be seen on the southern elevation and the arched window hoods on this side remain unaltered.

In 1985, non-historic metal siding was removed to uncover and restore the original storefront. Due to past preservation efforts, this building is contributing on the National Register for the downtown historic district.
