It’s happening – a downtown Siloam Springs mural!
Main Street Siloam Springs is pleased request proposals for a downtown mural on the south-facing wall of 204 S. Broadway Street. The mural is an exciting implementation of the Downtown Connectivity and Master Plan which was developed by Main Street Siloam Springs and unanimously adopted by the City of Siloam Springs Board of Directors in 2014 with the input of more than 500 community members. The Master Plan is available for viewing at www.mainstreetsiloam.org/resources.
The mural will reflect the spirit of Siloam Springs and will serve as both a visual herald of the entry into historic downtown Siloam Springs and a community celebration for years to come. Funding for this project was provided to Main Street Siloam Springs by a community development grant distributed by Arvest bank from the Walton Family Foundation. This grant will be used for a mural, a series of downtown art events, and other smaller public art projects in 2015.
